Types of eVisa

For US citizenship owners, the Indian eVisa is available in three types. Based on your purpose (tourism, recreation, sightseeing, casual visit to meet friends or relatives, short duration medical treatment or casual business visit) and duration of your trip in India, choose the suitable type:

1. Indian e-Tourist Visa: includes the following subtypes:
Indian One-month e-Tourist Visa – double entries – 30 days/entry - 30-day validity
Indian One-year e-Tourist Visa – multiple entries – 180 days/entry - 365-day validity
Indian Five-year e-Tourist Visa – multiple entries – 180 days/entry - 5-year validity

2. Indian e-Business Visa – multiple entries – 180 days/entry - 365-day validity

3. Indian e-Medical Visa – triple entries – 60 days/3 entries * - 60-day validity

* The staying period of 60 days counts from the date of the first arrival in India. Within this period of 60 days, Indian e-Medical Visa holders can enter India a maximum of 3 times.

Requirements for Indian eVisa

No passport is required, Indian eVisa application only needs your essential information:

Your personal and flight information.
Your recent personal color photo in JPEG or PDF format
The scanned Bio-Page of your Passport in PDF format (valid within more than 6 months balance at the time of entry).
A valid Credit/Debit Card (Visa/MasterCard).

Issuing eVisa

Indian eVisa does not require you to make appointments or wait in the Indian Embassy in your area. The process consists of only these 3 simple steps:

1. Fill out the online application form by providing us your flight information including the airport of arrival, the date of arrival, and your personal information such as your full name, passport number, date of birth, and nationality

2. Pay the Service fee and Government fee online by your Credit/Debit Card mentioned in the Payment Guidelines:
